Smart360 technology also promotes the concept of fewer (but of course highly context-relevant) questions for each Rater Group (ideally 8 to 20 questions maximum), which means less work (and resistance) from raters, especially if they have to do 360s for a number of their colleagues.

What does a rating gap of, say 2, mean, unless raters can provide narrative feedback explaining the reason for their lower rating.
- Smart360 does not just focus on DEVELOPMENT NEEDS, it also asks raters to give feedback to appraisees on their STRENGTHS as well (per competency), to provide balanced feedback, and to encourage and tell appraisees what they should keep on doing (this is yet another important differentiator of Smart360).
- Smart360 is a web-based (Software-as-a-Service) 360-degree feedback appraisal system, built upon the latest Microsoft ASP.NET platform.
NOTE: The system is unique in respect of its context-targeted technology, but it also provides the standard 360 option of one set of questions for all Rater Groups.
